TTA Strategic Plan - 2019 Implementation Update

We are now one year into TTA’s 2019-2022 Whole of Sport Strategic Plan – Our Future Now! and we are pleased to provide an Implementation Update to show progress made up to 31 December 2019. To view the document, please click here or download from the attachment below.

Detailed outcomes can be viewed in the document, but a high level summary of the achievements includes:

  • 2/3 of the 33 KPI’s across 5 Strategic Priorities are rated as ‘On Track’.
  • Multiple unification measures have been implemented, including developing a national database and aligning strategic planning across TTA and all State/Territory Associations for the first time.
  • Total revenue increased by 67% compared to 2018.
  • 5 x National Events were successfully implemented, all of which generated a positive return on investment.
  • A new participation record was set, smashing the previous record set in 2018 by 63%.
  • Livestreaming and overall social media exposure reached new heights.
  • Para High Performance Program enjoyed its most successful year ever, winning 17 medals at international events.
  • Able-Bodied High Performance achieved maximum quota places for the 2020 Olympic Games and dominated Continental events.

The Strategic Plan continues to drive the work and focus of the TTA Board and Administration.

TTA thanks everyone who played a role in implementing our Strategic Plan throughout 2019, no doubt it was a successful year on multiple fronts. We look forward to further growth in 2020 and beyond.
