TTA Policy Updates

Published Tue 28 Jul 2020

Multiple TTA policies were updated at the TTA Board Meeting held on 23 July 2020, summarised as:

TTA Nominations & Remuneration Committee Charter
Previously, this Committee was the TTA Nominations Committee. However, the functions of the Committee have been increased and refined, hence the name change. Additionally, a new requirement is that any Board Member who sits on the Committee and is up for election/appointment will need to vacate the Committee at least 6 months in advance of their Board term expiring. This helps to ensure appropriate governance and oversight is maintained.

TTA Anti-Doping Policy
The Australian Sports Anti-Doping Agency (ASADA) changed to become Sport Integrity Australia (SIA) on 1 July 2020. As a result, TTA was required to update our Anti-Doping Policy. TTA worked in conjunction with SIA and the TTA Legal Counsel to develop the updated policy.
