TTA is pleased to advise that we have signed an Agreement with the Sports Excellence Scholarship Fund (SESF). Through the SESF, 10-18 years old players who are from low socio-economic, indigenous and/or rural and regional backgrounds can apply for a $1,000 contribution towards their expenses to compete at the National Championships.

Upon signing the Agreement TTA CEO Scott Houston commented, “TTA is pleased to partner with SESF as this will provide a benefit to our junior players and help to foster increased participation at our National Championships.

“We promoted SESF to our players earlier this year, with some athletes being awarded funding to attend the 2022 National Championships which will be held next month on the Sunshine Coast.

“Thank you to Table Tennis Victoria for introducing TTA to SESF. We look forward to working together with SESF in the coming years and creating mutually beneficial outcomes.”

SESF Executive Director, Nick Mooney said, "The SESF is delighted to partner with Table Tennis Australia to support emerging talent to achieve their sporting goals. By assisting athletes in the lead up to these events, we can reduce the barriers to representing their state or country".
