TTA Para High Performance Program Named as a Finalist in the AIS Sport Performance Awards
Published Thu 14 Nov 2019
TTA is pleased to announce that our Para High Performance Program is one of only four sports to be included as a finalist at the upcoming AIS Sport Performance Awards, to be held in Sydney on 10 December 2019.
Throughout the year our Para athletes won 17 gold, five silver and 10 bronze medals across four International Para events. This includes Sam von Einem (Class 11 Men's Singles) going undefeated when winning gold at the 2019 Japan Para Open and the 2019 INAS Global Games.
Special mention to all members of the National Squad (Para) for their performances throughout the year. Additionally, hats off to the driving force behind the Para High Performance Program - Program Manager Sue Stevenson and National Head Coach (Para) Alois Rosario.
Fingers crossed for a successful outcome, however being named as a finalist is a significant achievement in itself.
