TTA Equipment and Facilities Grants Program recipients announced

TTA is pleased to announce the Equipment and Facilities Grants Program recipients have been determined for 2021. TTA received a record number of high-quality applications from every State and Territory across the country.
Over $114,000 worth of equipment and facilities will now be injected into table tennis projects across 13 clubs/associations from across the country. Pleasingly, a strong mix of regional and metropolitan applicants were successful. All successful applicants were able to demonstrate that their project will lead to an increase in participation, development of the sport, increased sustainability of the sport in their local area, clearly identify the benefits on offer, represent good value for money and generate a strong return on investment.

Monbulk Table Tennis Association (VIC) - Purchase of tables, nets and pick ups

Northern Tasmania Table Tennis Association (TAS) - Purchase of bats, balls and ball bags

Payneham Table Tennis Academy (SA) - Purchase of a robot

Port Sorell Table Tennis Club (TAS) - Purchase of a robot and scoreboards

Scarborough Table Tennis Club (WA) - Purchase of tables and court surrounds

South Brisbane Table tennis Association (QLD) – Upgrading of floor tiles and signage

Wynnum Table Tennis Association (QLD) – Replacement of louvers
This is the fourth year the TTA Equipment and Facilities Grant Program has been implemented. Inclusive of the abovementioned grants, the program has generated nearly $345,000 of equipment and facilities into 54 clubs/associations across all States/Territories. This aligns with the TTA Strategic Plan, where TTA has a KPI of delivering $500,000 worth of equipment and facilities by 2022.
TTA is delighted with the response to the program once again this year and looks forward to growing the program further, supporting more local initiatives in 2022 and beyond. Congratulations again to all successful applicants.

Assessment of all applications was undertaken exclusively by Egon Loh, TTA National Manager – Participation and Development , Aaron Tuckfield, TTA Senior Manager – National Participation and Development Program, and Scott Houston, TTA CEO, according to the Eligibility Checklist, Application Criteria, Funding Guidelines and Terms and Conditions previously published on the TTA website in the Equipment and Facilities Grant Program Guidelines.
