TTA Board Meeting Key Outcomes Summary - September 2020

The TTA Board provides a key outcomes summary after each Board Meeting to ensure that all stakeholders are informed about TTA developments and to offer openness and transparency.

Please see below for the key outcomes from the 10 September 2020 Board Meeting:

• The Minutes from the 23 July 2020 Board Meeting were approved.

• The August 2020 Financial Report was approved.

• A project which recognises all 75 men and 67 women who have officially represented Australia at senior level in ablebodied competitions was approved. Linked to this, a new TTA Past Player and Alumni Membership Category was approved. Full information can be viewed by clicking here.
  NOTE: The equivalent para project is nearing completion and will be presented once finalised.

• The venues and dates for the 2021 National Championships were approved. The official announcement can be viewed by clicking here.
  - 2021 National Senior, Youth, Junior and Para Championships: 2-11 July, Caloundra Indoor Stadium, Sunshine Coast.
  - 2021 National Hopes Week & Challenge: 12-16 April, LOOPS Table Tennis, Melbourne.
  - 2021 National Veterans Championships: 9-16 October, Northern Territory Netball Stadium, Darwin.

• The process to fill all required Board SubCommittee vacancies was discussed and subsequently approved. Details of current vacancies can be viewed by clicking here. Details of appointments made post Board Meeting can be viewed by clicking here.

• An updated National Selection Policy was approved. The sole changes to the previous version are that a Para Sport Categorisation Matrix has been added as Appendix A, plus references to Appendix A have been added as required within the document.
