TTA Board Meeting Key Outcomes Summary - October 2022

The TTA Board provides a key outcomes summary after each Board Meeting to ensure that all stakeholders are informed about TTA developments and to offer openness and transparency.

The following key outcomes arose from the TTA Board meeting held on 27 October 2022 and subsequent out of session decisions:

  • The Minutes from the 15 September 2022 TTA Board meeting were approved.
  • The September 2022 Financial Report was approved.
  • The 2022 TTA Budget Q3 Reforecast was approved.
  • An updated TTA Commercial and Marketing Committee Charter was approved, which can be viewed by clicking here.
  • Appointments for the TTA Finance, Risk and Audit Committee, TTA Umpires & Referees Committee, and TTA Commercial & Marketing Committee were determined. All appointments can be viewed by clicking here.
  • Russell Lavale’s TTA Hall of Fame (Athletes – Open) nomination was approved. Russell’s induction can be viewed by clicking here.
  • Noel Shorter’s TTA Hall of Fame (Coaches) nomination was approved. Noel’s induction can be viewed by clicking here.
  • The adoption of the National Integrity Framework and its associated policies was approved. All documents can be viewed by clicking here.
  • The TTA Para Table Tennis Athlete Classification Policy and the TTA Para Table Tennis Classification Rules Policy were approved. Both documents can be viewed by clicking here.
  • The 20232025 Strategic Plan – Table Tennis in Australia was approved, which can be viewed by clicking here.
  • An update was provided on multiple TTA Officials who have progressed through the officiating pathway. Details of the Officials and their progress can be viewed by clicking here.
