TTA Board Meeting Key Outcomes Summary - November 2021

The TTA Board provides a key outcomes summary after each Board Meeting to ensure that all stakeholders are informed about TTA developments and to offer openness and transparency.
The following key outcomes arose from the TTA Board Meeting held on 3 November 2021:
- The Minutes from the 2 September 2021 TTA Board Meeting were approved.
- Karen Zhang’s term as an Appointed Director on the TTA Board was extended by two years. The official announcement can be viewed by clicking here.
- Anthony Moore was appointed as Chairperson of the TTA Nominations & Remuneration Committee until 31 December 2022. The official announcement can be viewed by clicking here.
- The September 2021 Financial Report was approved.
- The 2021 TTA Budget – September Reforecast was approved.
- Updated Nomination Criteria (AbleBodied) and (Para) for the 2022 Commonwealth Games was approved.

- The 2022 National Events Schedule was approved. The official announcement can be viewed by clicking here.
- It was determined that TTA will implement new integrity related policies, with policies to be put forward for TTA Board consideration at the December 2021 TTA Board meeting.
- Discussion was held on the merits of mandating (or not) COVID19 vaccinations and at what levels. It was determined that seeking State/Territory Association input is an appropriate next step before a final decision can be made.
- The outstanding results achieved by Australian athletes on their European Tour were highlighted and all athletes, coaches and staff were widely praised.
- It was noted that the existing term of the TTA National Selection Panel and the TTA Nominations & Remuneration Committee will expire on 31 December 2021. As such, a call for nominations for all positions was authorised to be released. The official announcement can be viewed by clicking here.
