TTA Board Meeting Key Outcomes Summary - June 2022

The TTA Board provides a key outcomes summary after each Board Meeting to ensure that all stakeholders are informed about TTA developments and to offer openness and transparency.

The following key outcomes arose from the TTA Board meeting held on 16 June 2022 and the following decisions were made out of session:

16 June 2022 Board Meeting:

  • The Minutes from the 28 April 2022 Board meeting were approved.
  • The Minutes from the 1 June 2022 Board meeting were approved.
  • The May 2022 Financial Report was approved.
  • An agreement with the Sports Excellence Scholarship Fund was approved. The announcement can be viewed by clicking here.
  • Updated National Rankings Regulations were approved, which can be viewed by clicking here.
  • It was determined that a new TTA Commercial and Marketing Board SubCommittee should be established, with a Committee Charter to be developed and presented for Board approval.

Out of Session Decisions:

  • The Minutes from the 16 June 2022 Board meeting were approved.
  • Sean Shwe was appointed to fill the casual vacancy as an Elected Director on the TTA Board. The announcement can be viewed by clicking here.
  • The June 2022 Financial Report was approved.
  • The 2022 TTA Budget – Mid-Year Review was approved.
  • An updated National Selection Policy was approved, which can be viewed by clicking here.
  • The COVID19 vaccination mandate for the 2022 National Veterans Championships was amended. The announcement can be viewed by clicking here.
  • The TTA component of the 2023 Membership Fees were approved and have been set as: State/Territory Affiliation Fee: $1,265 all inclusive (no increase), Full Member: $47 all inclusive ($2 increase), Recreational Member: $21 ($1 increase).
  • It was determined that TTA will not make a bid to host the 2024 World Veterans Championships.
