TTA Board Meeting Key Outcomes Summary - April and June 2022

The TTA Board provides a key outcomes summary after each Board Meeting to ensure that all stakeholders are informed about TTA developments and to offer openness and transparency.

The following key outcomes arose from the TTA Board Meeting held on 28 April 2022:

  • Graham Symons was appointed as TTA President until the 2023 TTA AGM.
  • The Minutes from the 1 April 2022 Board Meeting were approved.
  • The March 2022 Financial Report was approved.
  • The National Integrity Framework and associated policies were approved to be put forward for Sport Integrity Australia consideration.
  • The determinations around how TTA would vote on all agenda items at the 2022 Australian Olympic Committee AGM were decided.
  • The determinations around how TTA would vote on all agenda items at the 2022 ITTFOceania AGM were decided.
  • The Athlete Wellbeing & Engagement Framework for the TTA Para Program was approved.
  • The COVID19 vaccination requirements for the 2022 National Championships were discussed at length. It was determined that the existing COVID-19 vaccination requirements would remain unchanged.
  • It was agreed that TTA should submit a nonbinding expression of interest to host the 2024 World Veterans Championships. The official announcement can be viewed by clicking here.

The following key outcomes arose from the TTA Board Meeting held on 1 June 2022:

  • Marie Pinkewich was appointed as TTA Deputy President until the 2023 TTA AGM. The official announcement can be viewed by clicking here.
