TTA Board Meeting Key Outcomes Summary - 23 July 2020

The TTA Board provides a key outcomes summary after each Board Meeting to ensure that all stakeholders are informed about TTA developments and to offer openness and transparency.
Please see below for the key outcomes from the 23 July 2020 Board Meeting:

The Minutes from the 11 June 2020 Board meeting were accepted.

The June 2020 Financial Report was accepted.

The Mid-Year 2020 Budget Review was accepted.

The TTA component for the 2021 Membership Fees were set at: Full Member (inc. insurance component) = $44.85 inc. GST; Recreational Member (inc. insurance component) = $19.59 inc. GST; State/Territory Affiliation Fee = $1,265 inc. GST.
NOTE: Any COVID-19 related adjustments to 2021 Membership Fees previously negotiated between TTA and State/Territory Associations will continue to be honoured on a case by case basis. -
The Mid-Year 2020 Implementation Update for the 2019-2022 TTA Strategic Plan was approved. To view the update, please click here.

The Charter for the Nominations & Remuneration Committee was approved. Previously, this Committee was the TTA Nominations Committee. However, the functions of the Committee have been increased and refined, hence the name change. To view the Charter, please click here.

An updated TTA Anti-Doping Policy was approved. The Australian Sports Anti-Doping Agency (ASADA) changed to become Sport Integrity Australia (SIA) on 1 July 2020. As a result, TTA were required to update our Anti-Doping Policy. To view the updated policy, please click here.

Minor amendments to the CEO Delegations Policy were approved. To view the updated policy, please click here.

Minor amendments to the Role of the President, Deputy President and Directors Policy were approved. To view the updated policy, please click here.

An updated TTA Risk Register was presented and discussed, noting that all risks are being appropriately managed, especially considering the current COVID-19 environment.

Agreement was given to explore the possibility of creating individual MOU’s between TTA andeach State/Territory Association, with the intention of formalising the relationship between all parties, clearly defining expectations for all parties, maximising finite resources and increasing the likelihood of securing funding. Discussions between all parties will take place to determine whether the opportunity is feasible.

The 2020 National Championships COVID-19 Risk Mitigation Plan was presented. However, subsequently all 2020 National Championships were cancelled due to COVID-19. To view the official announcement, please click here.

It was noted that the 2020 TTA Equipment and Facilities Grant Program applications were being assessed by staff. Subsequently, $78,000 worth of equipment and facilities were injected into 12 clubs/associations across 7 States/Territories. To view the official announcement, please click here.
