TTA Board Composition Update | TTA AGM Outcomes

The 2022 TTA AGM was held on 23 April in Adelaide.

The key outcomes from the AGM are:

ELECTION FOR THREE ELECTED DIRECTOR POSITIONS:
TTA is pleased to advise that Graham Symons and Leeanne Grantham were re-elected for a further term as Elected Directors.

TTA is pleased to advise that Kamalesh Tharmasuthan was elected for the first time as an Elected Director. Kamalesh is a former Australian champion and representative at junior and youth level. Following his playing career, Kamalesh has established an impressive corporate career, where he has held General Manager, Director and Senior Manager level positions with Toll Group, KPMG Australia, Telstra, Ernst & Young and Wesfarmers Group. Kamalesh holds post-graduate qualifications with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and has a double degree in Bachelor of Accounting & Bachelor of Banking and Finance. Kamalesh has served on the TTA Finance, Risk and Audit Committee since October 2020.

NOTE: The TTA Board will meet on Thursday 28 March 2022, where they will elect the President and Deputy President for the coming 12 months.

NOTE: It is anticipated that the TTA Board will fill a casual vacancy as an Elected Director on the TTA Board at the 28 April 2022 TTA Board meeting.

OTHER BUSINESS:

  • The Minutes from the 2021 TTA AGM were approved.
  • The 2021 Annual Report including the 2021 Audited Financial Statements and the 2021 Auditor’s Report were approved and can be viewed by clicking here.
  • Wayne Wessels from Wessels & Co. Pty. Ltd. was approved as the TTA Auditor for the year ending 31 December 2022.
