Selection Announcement - 2021 World Youth Championships

TTA and the National Selection Panel are pleased to announce that selections have been made for the 2021 World Youth Championships, which will be played in Portugal from 2-8 December.

The athletes selected are: 

ITTF have changed the format and qualification process for the World Youth Championships compared to previous years.

Players are now offered positions by ITTF based solely on world rankings, i.e. TTA is unable to select players into all events on offer this year.

Australian athletes have been offered positions to compete in the following events:

- Under 19 Boys Singles: Nicholas Lum

- Under 19 Boys Teams: Nicholas Lum, Finn Luu, Chulong Nie

- Under 19 Girls Singles: Parleen Kaur

- Under 19 Mixed Doubles: Nicholas Lum/Parleen Kaur

- Under 15 Boys Singles: Chulong Nie

- Under 15 Girls Singles: Connie Psihogios

- Under 15 Mixed Doubles: Chulong Nie/Connie Psihogios
