Published Mon 25 Sep 2017

The Board of TTA are pleased to announce that Scott Houston has been appointed to the role of Interim CEO. Scott will remain in the role until after the 2018 Commonwealth Games, after which time a permanent appointment will be made.

Scott has long been involved with table tennis in Australia and has the required skills set to take TTA forward. After finishing his playing career, Scott has held multiple positions within TTA including 2016 Olympic Games Team Leader, 2014 Commonwealth Games Section Manager, National Selector, National High Performance Committee Member, National Para Committee Member and National Junior Coach. Most recently Scott was a member of the Board of TTA, however he has resigned from his position for the role of Interim CEO. Scott holds multiple formal qualifications including a Master of Business Administration degree and he is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

There is a lot of work that needs undertaking in a short space of time, however the Board of TTA has backed Scott to take the organisation forward.

Please join me in welcoming Scott to his new position.
