Job Opportunity: Program Coordinator - Move It Aus Participation Grant
Published Thu 13 Jun 2019
Following the recent announcement of our successful grant application, TTA is seeking the services of a highly skilled and passionate team player for the newly created position of Program Coordinator to deliver the Move It Aus Participation Grant. Reporting directly to the CEO and working in close collaboration with an external consultant, the Program Coordinator will be a key pillar in ensuring TTA achieves the targeted outcomes.
The Program Coordinator will drive three key projects over a 12-month contract – 1) the development and implementation of an Entry Level Program, 2) the development and implementation of a Corporate Table Tennis Program with a focus on increasing female engagement, and 3) overseeing the development of systems to underpin 1) and 2).
This is an outstanding opportunity for the right candidate to work in a National Sporting Organisation and play a significant role in a crucial area of the business. The fast-paced nature of the role calls for meticulous planning skills, exceptional time management, an ability to follow through, outstanding communication skills and an outcomes focused mindset.
This is a full-time, 12-month contract position (38 hours per week, averaged out as 152 hours over a four-week period) with a three-month probation period. Given the nature of this role and the sports industry in general, some evenings and weekend work will be required. Some interstate travel may be required. This position will ideally be located at TTA’s National Office in Adelaide. For the right candidate, working in another State/Territory may be possible.
A background in table tennis is not essential, however prior experience in sports administration at a National or State/Territory level will be highly regarded.
