Officials appointed for all 2021 national events

TTA and the TTA Umpires & Referees Committee are pleased to announce the Officials who have been appointed to all National Events in 2021:
2021 National Hopes Challenge, 16 April, Melbourne:
- Referee: Gary Warnest (VIC)

2021 TTA Tour – Sydney, 29-30 May:
- Referee: Stephen Gillespie (NSW)
- Deputy Referee: Joseph Fung (NSW)

2021 National Veterans Championships, 9-16 October, Darwin:

TTA Umpires & Referees Committee Chairperson Marie Pinkewich commented, “We are delighted with the Officials teams that have been assembled for all 2021 National Events. Pleasingly, we received more nominations than positions available, which bodes well for the officiating stocks in Australia.
“As was the case for athletes, our Officials missed performing on the national stage last year and no doubt they’ll be ready, willing and able to play their part in ensuring the success of our premier events.
“These appointments also serve as a reminder of the clear pathway available for Officials. Anyone interested in becoming an Umpire or Referee is encouraged to sign up to become accredited. The best seat in the house awaits”.
