NOMINATIONS OPEN - 2019 VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR AWARDS!

Table Tennis Australia (TTA) is excited to announce the return of the national Volunteer Recognition Program, with nominations for the 2019 National Volunteer Awards now open.
 
Local table tennis clubs and associations are invited to help acknowledge and celebrate the outstanding contributions of their passionate and hard-working volunteers, by submitting eligible nominations in any of the following six (6) award categories;
 
- Fran Keyhoe Official of the Year
- Junior Official of the Year
- Club/Association of the Year
- Administrator of the Year
- 25 Years’ Service Award
- 50 Years’ Service Award
 
VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR
An overall national ‘Volunteer of the Year’ will also be chosen from the winners of the Award Categories above. This is the highest honour that can be bestowed upon an Australian table tennis volunteer. Dave Delpratt from Bundaberg DTTA was the inaugural winner in 2018.
 
WHY NOMINATE?
- Recognise & thank local volunteers and share their positive success stories
- Raise public awareness about your clubs/associations great people and their achievements
- Be acknowledged as a leader in the community
- Award category winners will be invited to attend the official Volunteer of the Year Awards Ceremony at the National Veterans Table Tennis Championships in Adelaide on Friday, 11 October (TBC) including flights, transfers & one (1) night’s accommodation.

- Nominations OPEN: Monday, 29 July 2019
- Nominations CLOSE: 5pm (SA time) Monday, 2 September 2019
- Volunteer of the Year Awards Event, National Veterans Table Tennis Championships, Adelaide SA, October 2019
