Nick, Finn & Connie Set for 2025 ITTF World Cup

Table Tennis Australia are delighted to congratulate three of our elite national athletes, Nicholas Lum, Finn Luu and Connie Psihogios for their outstanding performances and successful qualification into the 2025 ITTF World Cup, due to be held in Macao from 14^th -20^th April.

These athletes secured their spots based on their results at the recent ITTF Oceania Cup held in Melbourne.

Whilst the ITTF are yet to publish the full qualification document for the 2025 World Cup, under the 2024 ITTF qualification rules item 2.2 states that players who make the final of the ITTF Oceania-Cup will automatically be offered positions in the 2025 World Cup.

This prestigious event will bring the world's best table tennis players together, and we are extremely proud to see Australian talent represented on this global stage.

The success of these athletes at the ITTF Oceania Cup highlights their dedication, skill, and hard work, and is a reflection of the growing strength of table tennis in Australia.

A further 24 players from around the world will be selected based on World Rankings, to take part in the World Cup, and we are excited for the possibility that more of our Aussie athletes could take part. 

Table Tennis Australia extends its warmest congratulations to Nick, Finn and Connie, and we look forward to supporting them as they prepare for the upcoming ITTF World Cup.
