Published Mon 22 Aug 2022

The first National Para Pathway Camp was successfully held over the weekend at the Essendon Football Club Training Venue. The camp which was funded through a AIS Solutions Grant was attended by 11 x Para Pathway athletes who were talent identified from the recent National Championships.

The athletes came from QLD, NSW, WA, TAS, ACT and VIC and had the chance to work with the National Para Coaches, Alois Rosario and Maggie Meng both on and off the table.

Alois Rosario - National Para Head Coach said "It was great to see the next level of Para athletes in the one place and work so well together throughout the Camp. There was ernest discussion and great involvement by all. Hopefully the athletes have all come away with a greater understanding on how they can take the next steps in their Para Table Tennis journey".

TTA is committed to supporting the development of the Para Pathway athletes and have plans in place to conduct a yearly National Para Pathway Camp.
