Published Tue 12 Nov 2019
TTA is pleased to announce that we have signed a contract extension with our Broadcast Partner, My Sport Live, until the end of 2020. No less than six National Events will be broadcast under the new deal:
- Stage 1 Australian Qualification Tournament for the 2020 Olympic Games, MSAC, 16-17 November 2019.
- Stage 2 Australian Qualification Tournament for the 2020 Olympic Games, Croydon, 17-19 January 2020.
- 2020 National Hopes Challenge, LOOPS Table Tennis, 20-24 January 2020.
- 2020 National Senior & Youth and Para Championships, Brisbane, 10-18 April 2020.
- 2020 National Junior Championships, Mandurah, 5-11 July 2020.
- 2020 National Veterans Championships, Darwin, 26 September to 3 October 2020.
Upon signing the extension, TTA CEO Scott Houston commented, ‘TTA has thoroughly enjoyed working with My Sport Live throughout 2019 as they have provided first class service and exceptional coverage. Across the four National Championships in 2019, more than 40,000 unique viewers and nearly 100,000 total views were achieved. Moreover, more than 2,700 hours of content was viewed across more than 30 countries. My Sport Live are tried and trusted and expanding our coverage until the end of 2020 makes perfect sense; it fully aligns with our goal of showcasing our premier athletes and events and ensuring a positive commercial return for all sponsors and partners’.
My Sport Live CEO Andrew Wiess was equally pleased, ‘We are absolutely thrilled to continue our partnership with TTA, and look forward to showcasing the best of the sport throughout 2020. To add events in Western Australia, the Northern Territory and Queensland to the broadcast schedule means that we really can truly highlight the best table tennis on display from all over the country. It has been an absolute pleasure to partner up with TTA and we can’t wait to bring the action to you – no matter where you are!’
Stay tuned for further broadcast details ahead of each event, starting with Stage 1 of the Australian Qualification Tournament for the 2020 Olympic Games, commencing this weekend.
Thank you to everyone who has tuned in and helped lift the exposure of our events in 2019.
