Miao Miao Appointed as National Assistant Coach

TTA is pleased to announce that Australian great Miao Miao has been appointed as National Assistant Coach for both the able-bodied and para teams and programs in a full-time capacity on a four year contract. Miao is one of Australia’s most decorated players, which saw her compete in four Olympic Games, five Commonwealth Games, win six Commonwealth Games medals plus claim dozens of State, National and Oceania titles. As a coach Miao has previously worked as the National Women’s Team Coach, National Junior Coach, Oceania Cadet and Junior Team Coach and Victorian Junior Coach.
TTA CEO Scott Houston was excited upon the making the announcement as he commented, ‘we’re ecstatic to secure Miao’s services as a full-time coach as we look to take our able-bodied and para teams and programs to the next level. Her skills, knowledge and ability are clearly evident and she demonstrated that she is the best candidate for this important role. We’re very confident that Miao will seamlessly transition into full-time coaching. Best of all, in the furness of international competition and in the daily training environment, all our players will be able to tap into Miao’s vast experience’.
