OFFICIAL AUSTRALIAN REPRESENTATIVES (ABLE-BODIED)
TTA is pleased to present the complete records for all 75 men and 68 women who have officially represented Australia at senior level in able-bodied competitions. For each player this comprises their official player number, every international competition where they represented Australia, all international medals won, all Oceania titles won, and all national titles and awards won. TTA and all players can be proud of this thorough and comprehensive piece of work.

TTA feels it is important to recognise all official Australian representatives to showcase our proud history and identify all those who have contributed to our success. In order to be recognised, a player must have been selected to represent Australia and played a match at any of the following events: Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games, World Championships, World Cup, Commonwealth Championships, ITTF-Oceania Championships, ITTF-Oceania Cup, Asian Championships, Asian Cup and other major events. The intention is by limiting the events at which a player can become an official Australian representative, it provides a tough but fair and consistent criteria.

Full information and all records are available on a dedicated Official Australian Representatives webpage under the Events tab of the TTA website, which can be viewed by CLICKING HERE.

OFFICIAL AUSTRALIAN REPRESENTATIVES (PARA)
TTA has identified 65 men and 26 women who have officially represented Australia at senior level in para competitions. However, the complete records for all players are not yet finalised. TTA looks forward to presenting this information in the near future and will make a formal announcement once complete.

TTA PAST PLAYER AND ALUMNI MEMBERSHIP
TTA is seeking to create ongoing engagement with all Australian representatives and alumni. As such, a new TTA Membership category called Past Player and Alumni Member has been created. This form of membership will be free of charge and ongoing, but is only open to all official Australian representatives (unless they are already a member in another category, e.g. still actively playing, Life Member etc.) and TTA Hall of Fame Members. TTA will make contact with all people who qualify for Past Player and Alumni Membership to ensure they can join as soon as possible.

TTA anticipates multiple benefits will arise from Past Player and Alumni Membership, including:

  1. Enabling TTA to engage a large group of people who have significantly contributed to the sport.
  2. Providing an opportunity for interaction amongst people who may have lost contact.
  3. Celebrating the achievements of Australia’s best players and the history of TTA.
  4. May encourage people who have been away from the sport for some time to return.
  5. Improve the collegiate nature of Australian table tennis.
