ENTRIES OPEN - 2021 National Hopes Week & Challenge

TTA is pleased to advise that entries are now open for the 2021 National Hopes Week & Challenge, to be held at LOOPS Table Tennis in Melbourne from 12-16 April 2021. The event is open to anyone born in 2009 or later.

With record numbers attending the 2020 National Hopes Week & Challenge and a concerted effort being made towards Hopes activities at State/Territory level, 2021 is shaping up to be even bigger and better. TTA will allocate 5 coaches to the event – John Murphy (TTA National Head Coach), Eva Jeler (TTA National Coach – Performance Pathway), Simon Gerada (National Performance Pathway Manager), and Franck Roguiez and Hongbo Liang (TTA Appointed Hopes Coaches).

Key highlights for the event include:

  1. 4-day training camp including 8 training sessions and multiple educational activities.
  2. 1-day competition, with a chance to be selected into the 2021 National Hopes Squad.
  3. Guest appearances from National Team players, including acting as training partners.
  4. The opportunity to interact with the best Hopes level players and coaches in Australia.
  5. 2021 National Hopes Week & Challenge t-shirt.

NOTE: Only players who participate in the event will be eligible to be selected into the 2021 National Hopes Squad.
