Bennelong schools rally to table tennis

Local schools in Sydney’s northern suburbs will once again be invited to participate in the Bennelong Schools Table Tennis Cup.

 

The Bennelong Schools Cup is open to all primary and secondary schools within the federal electorate of Bennelong

 

The Ryde Community & Sports Centre will host the competition, within the ELS Sports Hall Facility, - for Friday 27th October 2017.

 

Three competition divisions will be on offer – Primary, Junior High & Senior High divisions – catering from Grade 4 to Grade 12 students.

 

Table Tennis New South Wales Vice President Ted Davis hopes the Bennelong Schools Cup will continue to drive junior participation in Sydney region.

 

“The Bennelong event has become the number one event on the sporting calendar for schools in the region”, Davis said.

 

“The competition has been a direct result of the cooperation of the commercial world, the political world and the sporting world”.

 

The Bennelong Schools Cup has run as a successful regional inter-school competition since 2012 and is supported by Hyundai Motor Company Australia and Mr John Alexander - Federal Member of Bennelong.
