Adelaide to Host 2019 National Veterans Championships
Published Fri 07 Dec 2018
TTA and Table Tennis South Australia (TTSA) are pleased to announce that the 2019 National Veterans Championships will be held from 12-19 October 2019 in Adelaide. The brand new St. Clair Recreation Centre will be the venue, just 20 minutes from the city centre and 15 minutes from the Adelaide airport. Full details of the venue can be viewed at https://www.stclair.ymca.org.au/.
TTA is proud to partner with TTSA to deliver and showcase our premier national veterans event. The Organising Committee already have the building blocks in place to ensure the success of the championships and we look forward to welcoming everyone to Adelaide and delivering a first class event. The Prospectus, Entry Forms and other information will be distributed in due course.
TTSA President Paul Langley commented ‘TTSA has been looking forward to hosting this event for some time and we are confident that we will deliver a fantastic experience for the whole Table Tennis community. We cannot wait to show off the wonderful state of SA and the city of Adelaide whilst competing in a brand new state of the art facility at St. Clair’.
TTA CEO Scott Houston is also looking forward to the event, ‘this will be the first National Veterans Championships held under the new Event Agreement model. We’re confident the new model will create win-win outcomes for all concerned and importantly it aligns well with the increased collaboration efforts between TTA and State and Territory Associations’.
