2025 ITTF Oceania Cup Hits Melbourne This Weekend with Top Table Tennis Action!

A pinnacle event for our region the 2025 ITTF-Oceania Cup is set to bring the best of table tennis action to Melbourne, this weekend Saturday 15 February and Sunday 16 February.
The tournament will take place at LOOPS Table Tennis Centre, and with elite athletes representing six nations, this is an event not to be missed.
When: Saturday, 15 February – Sunday 16th February 2025.
Where: LOOPS Table Tennis Centre, 619 Somerville Road, Sunshine
Cost: FREE Entry
The stakes are high as athletes from countries including: Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, French Polynesia, New Caledonia and Vanuatu, compete for:
- Qualification to the World Cup, where they will represent Oceania on the global stage
- Vital World Ranking points in the race towards entry to WTT events globally
- Regional glory, as the best of the best vie for the coveted Gold Medal.
The tournament will feature the top male and female athletes from across the Oceania region. These elite players are set to deliver thrilling matches, showcasing the highest level of skill and determination including Australia’s very own Minhyung Jee, Yangzi Liu, Finn Luu, Nicholas Lum and Connie Psihogios, with the support of National Coaches Ricardo Oliveira, Melissa Tapper and Simon Gerada.
Schedule Highlights
Day 1: Saturday, 15 February 2025
• 10:00 AM: Group stage matches begin for both men (OCM) and women (OCW).
Day 2: Sunday, 16 February 2025
• 9:30 AM: Quarterfinals kick off for both men and women.
• The action intensifies with semi-finals, followed by the much-anticipated finals.
• The tournament concludes with the Bronze and Gold Medal matches, and the Award Ceremony at approximately 6:00 PM.
This is a fantastic opportunity for fans to witness world-class table tennis live, with entry to the event being completely free. Bring your family and friends to cheer on your favourite athletes and don’t miss a minute of the excitement.
