NOTES:
- TTA may consider piloting TTA Tour Veterans events in 2023, subject to the Veterans community being surveyed to canvas their views around its feasibility, and subject to dates and venues being available.
- A World Table Tennis Youth Contender event will likely be held in Darwin in September/October 2023, subject to ITTF approval.
- Multiple other ITTF and ITTF-Oceania events will be held throughout the year, with dates and venues TBC.
Key highlights include our two pinnacle events, the National Championships (to be held in Sydney) and the National Veterans Championships (to be held in Canberra). The highly successful TTA Tour will continue with four events across Canberra, Sydney, Brisbane and for the first time, Geelong. Additionally, the National Hopes Week & Challenge will be held in Geelong for the first time. Finally, a comprehensive network of Hopes activities and National Pathway camps will be held in most States/Territories.
2022 saw the return of a full national events calendar following a 2-year COVID-19 enforced hiatus, with all events being extremely well supported and many participation records being set. TTA is hopeful that this trend will continue in 2023 and we look forward to providing as many opportunities as possible for all players, coaches, officials, volunteers and fans.
