2023 National Equipment and Facilities Program Recipients Announced

TTA is pleased to announce the National Equipment and Facilities Grants Program recipients have been determined for 2023.

TTA received a record number of high-quality applications from across the country. Over $103,000 worth of equipment and facilities will now be injected into table tennis projects across 16 clubs/associations from seven States/Territories. Pleasingly, a strong mix of regional and metropolitan applicants were successful. All successful applicants were able to demonstrate that their project will lead to an increase in participation, development of the sport, increased sustainability of the sport in their local area, clearly identify the benefits on offer, represent good value for money and generate a strong return on investment.

Barossa and Light Table Tennis Association (SA) – Purchase of new tables

Bathurst District Table Tennis Association (NSW) – Purchase of new tables

Bundaberg and District Table Tennis Association (QLD) – Purchase of new air conditioning system

Croydon and District Table Tennis Association (VIC) – Purchase of new heating system

Darwin Table Tennis Association (NT) – Purchase of new training equipment

Forestville Table Tennis Club (NSW) – Purchase of table, nets, balls, scoreboards and lighting upgrade

Kiama Table Tennis Club (NSW) – Purchase of wheelchair accessible table, court surrounds and umpire tables

LOOPS Table Tennis (VIC) – Purchase of new strip heaters

Manning Table Tennis Club (NSW) – Purchase of court surrounds

Mornington Peninsula & Frankston City Table Tennis Association (VIC) – Purchase of new bats, balls and barriers

Port Pirie Table Tennis Club (SA) – Purchase of new table, nets, barriers and bats

Port Sorell Table Tennis Club (TAS) – Purchase of new computer and scoreboards

RTTC Table Tennis Academy (NSW) – Purchase of new balls, rubbers, uniforms and bats

Sun Table Tennis Club (WA) – Purchase of new tables

Townsville Table Tennis Association (QLD) – Purchase of new air conditioning system

Warrnambool Table Tennis Association (VIC) – Purchase of new robot

This is the sixth year the TTA Equipment and Facilities Grant Program has been implemented. Inclusive of the abovementioned grants, the program has generated over $540,000 of equipment and facilities into 85 clubs/associations across all States/Territories.

Assessment of all applications was undertaken exclusively by Aaron Tuckfield, TTA Senior Manager – National Participation and Development Program, and Scott Houston, TTA CEO, according to the Eligibility Checklist, Application Criteria, Funding Guidelines and Terms and Conditions previously published on the TTA website in the Equipment and Facilities Grant Program Guidelines.
