TTA is pleased to announce that the 2020 National Junior Championships will be held from 5-11 July in Mandurah, Western Australia, one hour south of Perth. The Mandurah Recreation Centre will be the host venue.
2020 will be the second full year of the new Event Agreement Model for National Championships. In this instance, TTA is proud to partner with Table Tennis Western Australia (TTWA) to deliver our pinnacle national junior event. Moreover, the City of Mandurah were instrumental in bringing the event to the region – TTA and TTWA are appreciative of the generous support provided by the City of Mandurah.
TTA CEO Scott Houston commented, ‘we’re delighted to bring the 2020 National Junior Championships to Mandurah. The 2019 event attracted nearly 300 competitors from all around Australia and New Zealand and we achieved record numbers from a coverage and exposure perspective. Joint planning between TTA and TTWA is already well underway and we’re looking forward to showcasing the best junior talent on the national stage’.
