“The Dream Starts Here”
The Hopes Program is the ITTF High Performance & Development department’s talent identification program, which unites young players and coaches from across the globe. It continues to be the building block of the ITTF High Performance pathway, which targets Global Reach and Overall Growth of Table Tennis.
Hopes is a 4 day training camp followed by a 1 day round robin tournament - 5 days of table tennis!
In January each year in Australia, there is a series of camps around the country for Juniors 12 years or under. Participants in the State Hopes are eligible to attend the National Hopes Week & Challenge held in April in Geelong.
The winners of the National Hopes are eligible to participate in the Oceania Hopes and may progress to the World Hopes.
The pathway for an Australian junior who is 12 years or younger is State Hopes -> National Hopes -> Oceania Hopes -> World Hopes.
Mini Hopes is for Juniors 10 years or younger.
Please refer to the information below regarding the State and National Hopes program:
Deadline for Online Entry Form to be submitted and registration fee to be paid (online payments only) is 4 weeks before the start of the camp.
