Australian Qualification Tournament for the 2022 Commonwealth Games (AQT).

This event is only open to National Squad (Able-Bodied) members who meet all requirements to enter.

TEAM COMPOSITION:
As per the Nomination Criteria (Able-Bodied) – 2022 Commonwealth Games, the 2022 Commonwealth Games Team will comprise of 4 men and 4 women. The first 3 men and 3 women will be selected by the National Selection Panel. The winner of the Men’s Singles and Women’s Singles events at the AQT will be selected as the 4th man and 4th women in the 2022 Commonwealth Games Team.

NOTE: All selections are subject to Commonwealth Games Australia endorsement.

ELIGIBILITY:
The AQT is open to all current National Squad (Able-Bodied) Members who meet all requirements as specified in the Nomination Criteria (Able-Bodied) – 2022 Commonwealth Games, in particular Clause 6.

NOTE: The first 3 men and 3 women who are selected for the 2022 Commonwealth Games Team are not required to play at the AQT.

NOTE: A maximum of 20 men and 20 women can participate at the AQT. When determining the athletes who can compete at the AQT, the National Selection Panel will use the latest possible National Rankings List for Open Men’s and Open Women’s. The National Selection Panel may use any other reliable information where the National Ranking List for Open Men’s and Open Women’s is deemed to be insufficient, e.g. for junior athletes who do not have a National Ranking in Open Men’s or Open
Women’s etc.

KEY DATES:

• Friday 25 February 2022: Final date for Event Prospectus to be released on the TTA website.

• Friday 25 February 2022: Final date for the Online Entry Form to be released on the TTA website.

• Sunday 10 April 2022: Final date for the Online Entry Form to be submitted.

• Tuesday 19 April 2022: Final date for TTA to publish the first 3 men and women selected for the 2022 Commonwealth Games Team.

• Friday 22 April 2022: Final date for TTA to publish the list of all accepted entries for the AQT.

• Sunday 1 May 2022: Final date for entry fees to be paid for all AQT accepted entries.

• Friday 13 May 2022: Final date for TTA to release AQT draws.

EVENTS OFFERED:
Men's Singles and Women's Singles only.

EVENT SCHEDULE:
To be confirmed once accepted entries are determined.

EVENT FORMAT:
As specified in the Nomination Criteria (Able-Bodied) – 2022 Commonwealth Games.

ENTRY FEES:
A flat fee of $150 will be charged for entry into the AQT. Entry fee invoices will only be provided to those players whose entries are accepted to the AQT.
