2023 National Hopes Week & Challenge: Final Results

"THE DREAM STARTS HERE" The 2023 National Hopes Week & Challenge was played at Geelong Table Tennis Association, Victoria from 17-21 April. 75 youngsters from 6 States/Territories participated in what was an action packed week of training and competition. Final event results are now available.

Lina Lei and Qian Yang Receive Order of Australia Medals

Table Tennis Australia (TTA) would like to congratulate Lina Lei and Qian Yang who earlier this month attended the Australia Day Honours and Awards Investiture ceremony at Government House Victoria where they were presented with their Order of Australia medals by the Governor of Victoria, the Honourable Linda Dessau AC.

Vale Angelo Tabone

One of the great servants of Australian table tennis, Angelo Tabone, passed away this morning in Melbourne, aged 80 years old. Angelo had a long and decorated career at all levels of the sport for nearly 60 years, primarily in officiating and administration.

Australian Veterans Collect Massive Medal Haul in New Zealand

The Australian Veterans team comprising 13 women and 19 men ventured to Nelson, New Zealand over the Easter long weekend for the Trans Tasman Test Match and the New Zealand National Veterans Championships. This was the first time Australian Veterans players have headed to New Zealand since 2019 and the events were a big success overall.

2023 TTA Tour - Canberra: Final Results

The 2023 TTA Tour - Canberra was played at Tuggeranong Archery Centre on 8-9 April. 288 individual event entries were received from 134 players, which was more than a 30% increase compared to 2022. Final results are now available.

Call for Elected Directors for the TTA Board

The TTA AGM will be held on Saturday 29 April 2023 in Adelaide. Pursuant to rule 13.4 (b) (ii) of the TTA Constitution, elections will be held for two Elected Director positions at the TTA AGM.

TTA Releases 2022 Audited Financial Statements

TTA is pleased to release our Audited Financial Statements for the year ending 31 December 2022, which demonstrate a fifth consecutive surplus has been achieved, the total equity position has further strengthened and the cash reserves target has been met. These results continue the trend of ongoing strong financial management, performance and oversight under the current Administration and Board over the past five years.
