The TTA Board provides a key outcomes summary after each Board meeting to ensure that all stakeholders are informed about TTA developments and to offer openness and transparency.
The 2023 TTA Tour - Sydney was played at Sydney Olympic Park on 27-28 May. 488 individual event entries from 244 players (new TTA Tour record entries) from 6 States/Territories, New Zealand, Austria, Fiji and Pakistan were received. The final results are now available.
As indicated at the beginning of the month, Scott Houston has decided to step down as TTA CEO, with his last day being Tuesday 30 May 2023. Scott shares his thoughts on his nearly six years in the role.
TTA is pleased to announce the National Equipment and Facilities Grants Program recipients have been determined for 2023. TTA received a record number of high-quality applications from across the country. Over $103,000 worth of equipment and facilities will now be injected into table tennis projects across 16 clubs/associations from seven States/Territories.

TTA is pleased to release the media statistics from the TTA Tour – Canberra, National Hopes Week & Challenge and TTA Tour – Geelong. Overall, very strong figures have been realised, continuing the trend of strong interest in National Events.
TTA is pleased to release the Prospectus for the 2023 National Veterans Championships, which will be played in Canberra from 30 September to 7 October.
TTA is pleased to advise that at the 4 May 2023 TTA Board meeting, the TTA Board unanimously endorsed Graham Symons to continue as TTA President and for Steve Knapp to be appointed as TTA Deputy President. Both will hold their positions until the 2024 TTA AGM.
Following on from their landmark medal at the 2022 World Youth Championships, the Aussie trio of Aditya Sareen, Won Bae and Chulong Nie feature in the April 2023 ITTF Swaythling Magazine.
After more than 5.5 years in the role, Scott Houston has announced his resignation as CEO of TTA. Scott will be taking up another opportunity outside of sport with his final day being 30 May 2023.
