Table Tennis Team announced for Tokyo Olympics on One Year To Go milestone
Published Thu 23 Jul 2020
The Australian Olympic Committee has selected four Table Tennis athletes to the Australian Olympic Team for the Tokyo Olympics, marking one year to go until the rescheduled Games in 2021.
Michelle Bromley secured her debut Olympic selection after more than a decade of close calls, Stephanie Sang returns for her second Games after debuting in Beijing, marking an incredible comeback to elite sport after taking time away to have two children, and David Powell and Chris Yan both return for their second Games after competing at Rio 2016.
The four athletes topped the Table Tennis selection trials event held in January to earn nomination.
