Nittaku and DHS Sign Contract Extension Until 2024
Published Thu 31 Jan 2019
TTA is pleased to announce that our long-term partners, Nittaku and DHS, have agreed to a contract extension to remain sponsors until the end of 2024. Through a multi-faceted sponsorship agreement, TTA has strengthened its relationship with two of the biggest table tennis companies globally. Nittaku and DHS will be the Official TTA National Team Uniform Sponsor for junior, senior and para; the Official Equipment Sponsor of the National Senior & Youth Championships; the Official Ball Sponsor for all National Championships, plus equipment sponsorships will be provided to selected National Squad members (able-bodied and para).
Upon signing the contract extension, TTA CEO Scott Houston commented ‘Nittaku and DHS are world leading table tennis manufacturers who enjoy outstanding reputations. Mutual trust has been built up over many years between all parties and we are very happy to continue our longstanding partnership. TTA looks forward to providing ongoing exposure in the Australian market for Nittaku and DHS and we thank them for their ongoing contribution and commitment to Australian table tennis and TTA’.
DHS General Manager, Mr. Lou Shihe said pleasingly, 'it is a great pleasure for DHS to become an equipment partner of TTA. DHS is a household name in table tennis as it provides equipment for not only world-class events such as the Olympic Games and World Championships, but also top players like Ma Long and Ding Ning. As a matter of fact, this is not our first cooperation with TTA, which has been very rewarding in the past. Australia, a great power in sports with enormous potential, has made great progress in table tennis. We would like to contribute our share to the development of table tennis in Australia and wish our cooperation a great success.
President of Nittaku, Mr. Isao Kitaoka was also happy with the agreement. 'On behalf of Nittaku, it is our great honor to become a partner of Table Tennis Australia for such a long term. We hope that TTA can contribute to the development of Australia through our sport, table tennis'.
