Kerri Tepper Awarded TTA Life Membership

TTA is pleased to announce that Kerri Tepper has been awarded Life Membership of TTA for longstanding and valued service to table tennis in Australia. Kerri’s nomination was unanimously supported by the States and Territories at the TTA AGM on Saturday 19 May 2018.

New Found Faith in Table Tennis!

Students of Faith Baptist Christian School in Burua, Queensland (near Gladstone) were fortunate to receive expert table tennis coaching in Term 2 (2018) from Dave Delpratt, visiting from the Bundaberg and District Table Tennis Association.

Sponsors Wanted - TTA National Equipment and Facilities Grant Program

TTA is excited to announce that a brand new program, the TTA National Equipment and Facilities Grant Program, will soon be launched. The program will provide an opportunity for clubs/associations throughout Australia to apply for funding to purchase/upgrade equipment and facilities. Arthur Wilks OAM Awarded TTA Life Membership

Mr. Arthur Wilks OAM was awarded with TTA Life Membership in 2016, however we’ve been waiting for an appropriate occasion to present Arthur with his plaque. The Opening Ceremony of the 2018 National Para Championships this morning in his home city of Canberra proved the perfect opportunity. Arthur has been a trailblazer for para table tennis in Australia and dedicated more than 60 years to our great game. Congratulation Arthur, it’s thoroughly deserved.

Winners of the 2017 TTA Official of the Year Awards, Stephen Gillespie and Kameron Chan, were presented with their respective awards in front of their peers at the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games.

TTA Welcomes Nittaku and DHS as National Championships Title Sponsor

TTA is pleased to announce that Nittaku and DHS have agreed to terms to be the Title Sponsor for the upcoming National Championships at Mornington. The event will called the 2018 Nittaku-DHS Australian Senior and Youth Championships. As part of the agreement, Nittaku-DHS tables and Nittaku balls will be used.

TTA Board Elected Directors - Calling For Nominations

The TTA AGM will be held on Saturday 19 May 2018 in Melbourne. At the AGM an election will be held to fill five Elected Director vacancies. Three Elected Directors will be elected for a period of two years, and two Elected Directors will be elected for a period of one year. This election process ensures the Transitional Provisions as per the new TTA Constitution are adhered to.

Aleks Jakubczak Moves on From TTA

TTA wishes to advise that Aleks Jakubczak has moved on from his role as National Para Assistant Coach. Aleks has contributed to TTA in many roles over many years and we thank him for his service. TTA wishes Aleks all the best for the future.
