TTA is pleased to announce that one of Australia’s greatest ever players, Russell Lavale, has been inducted into the TTA Hall of Fame in the Athletes – Open category.
The 2022 World Para Championships were played in Spain from 6-12 November. After seven days of competition, our Australian team delivered our best ever results in the rich history of the event finishing with an incredible six medals – two gold, two silver and two bronze.

The highly successful 2022 National Veterans Championships were played from 8-15 October in Darwin. This was the first time the National Veterans Championships were held since 2019 and it was fantastic to see the nation’s best Veterans players back together again competing for the 57 national titles on offer.
The 2022 National Veterans Championships kicks off tomorrow in Darwin and will run from 8-15 October. Nearly 350 players from all 8 States/Territories and New Zealand will be competing.

TTA and the National Selection Panel are pleased to announce the selections for the 2022 World Youth Championships, which will be played in Tunis, Tunisia from 4-11 December.
The World Table Tennis Youth Contender event in Darwin wrapped up last night. More than 50 Aussie youngsters were in action across 10 events ranging from Under 11’s to Under 19’s. Our players performed very strong winning a total of 15 medals (1 gold, 3 silver and 11 bronze).
The term of multiple TTA Board Sub-Committees are due to expire on 31 December 2022 and a new TTA Board Sub-Committee is being formed. As such, TTA is calling for applications for multiple roles.
A World Table Tennis Youth Contender event will be played in Darwin from 27-29 September, with many top ranked junior players from 8 countries set to compete.
